Once a Jewish synagogue, today's event location CAPITOL has experienced a lot more in its history than just a series of great events. Since it was built in the 1920s, world stars such as Luciano Pavarotti, Chris Rea and Katie Melua have given of their best here.

And the CAPITOL repaid them for it: With great acoustics, an impressive ambience and a fantastic atmosphere. That’s why one of Germany’s most well-known orchestras, the Frankfurt New Philharmonic practises and performs here.

The facilities:

Overall capacity: approx. 1,500 people

Atrium:

A welcome area of exceptional quality. Mediterranean flair under a domed glass roof offers your guests room for the experience that you organise.

The capacity:

400 m ² for up to 350 people. Can be individually furnished with standing or bistro tables, as an exclusive catering area, exhibition space or dance floor – your dream of a perfect event decides.

Palladium:

The large, circular hall of our event location. Above it, at a height of 15 m, is the cupola, the distinctive exterior feature of the CAPITOL. Inside, subtle lighting and a great atmosphere take their effect, making it the ideal location for events such as vehicle premieres, fashion shows and your gala event. This also includes the stage that, with in excess of 200 m ², even has a special permit for all kinds of seating.

The gallery:

The gallery on the upper floor offers a superb view of the stage. With row seating, there is room for 353 people here; a banquet (tables of 2, 4 and 6 people) or variety arrangement (ideal e.g. for a gala) can easily be realised.

Lounge:

The lounge with direct access to the gallery is an elegant foyer. But it is also a lot more besides. With 80 m ² and a long real wood counter, the lounge is not only a stylish bar but also ideal as a catering area or event venue for workshops, seminars, etc. The Universum can be reached via the lounge.

Das Universum:

The room with the starry ceiling and parquet flooring on the upper floor measures some 126 m ² with a small stage of around 25 m ². Perfect for seminars, workshops and smaller events as it has its own entrance next to the main entrance and is connected to two further workshop rooms. The Universum can be darkened.

The Workshop-rooms:

Workshop room 2 is 32 m ². Its windows open onto the Atrium; the room can be darkened.
Both rooms have fine parquet flooring. When they are used as meeting rooms, approx. 24 people can fit round the large table; with row seating (e.g. with seminars), the maximum capacity is 25 people.
